Xbox and Adidas Unveil New Xbox 360 Inspired Sneaker
Adidas and Xbox team up to reveal another dapper addition to their 20th anniversary of Xbox sneaker collection.
Last month Xbox teamed up with Adidas to create a sneaker to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Xbox. Today the second sneaker has been revealed: The Xbox 360 Forum Mid. The 360 Forum becomes the first-ever Xbox-themed sneaker available for purchase for fans in the U.S. and Canada.
It’s an Xbox 360 vibe
The cultural "game changer" has been reflected through visual throwbacks and Easter eggs all around the shoe. The Forum mid’s rock the Xbox 360 original colours with white, silver, and green accents. It all adds up to a sleek, playful, and fashionable way to celebrate the iconic console.
360-degrees of detail
If you are a lifelong Xbox fan like me, you’ll be able to pick out some of the shoe’s easter eggs that pay homage to the Xbox 360. On the top of the sneaker the strap features the Xbox 360 disc tray, along with the classic 360-era Xbox button design on the shoe’s outer side and the console’s air vents on the inner side.
The heel features references to the Xbox 360’s distinctive removable hard drive and memory unit slots. There is a myriad of details to discover, including some hidden secrets. One such “hidden” detail are the 360 rings adorning the bottom of the shoe.
The sneakers even come complete with four additional pairs of laces in red, yellow, green, and blue representing the face buttons of the Xbox 360 controller.
Get them while you can
The Xbox 360 Forum Mid will be available to purchase in the U.S. and Canada on November 4 at 7:00 a.m. PT via adidas.com. The shoes have been produced in extremely limited quantities, so make sure you are ready for the drop. Once they are gone, there will be no restock, becoming rare part of Xbox history.

As part of the “Always Played In. Never Played Out.” program, which celebrates eras of Xbox history, fans can jump back in time with a virtual reveal experience to relive the launch of the Xbox 360. It won’t be around for long, so check out www.neverplayedout.net for a nostalgia trip:
