Nintendo Direct June 2023 Announcement Round-Up
Nintendo was sure to catch the Summer Game Fest wave with its latest Direct. I've compiled all of Nintendo's exciting announcements in one spot.
Nintendo wasted no time with its latest Direct diving into the big announcements right away. There was plenty of exciting news to keep everyone's attention. From remasters of beloved classics to brand new IPs, this Direct had something for everyone! Here are all the announcements in one place:
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero
Release Date - The Teal Mask: Fall 2023 and Part Two – The Indigo Disk Winter 2023
First up was the announcement of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, which consists of two standalone expansions - The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk. The Indigo Disk transports trainers to the Blueberry Academy, located in the ocean. The latest trailer showcased various features, including new dapper wardrobe options for Trainers, new characters and most notably, an array of new Pokémon.
Sonic Superstars - Release Date - Fall 2023
More of Sonic Superstars was shown off highlighting four playable characters: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose. In a series-first, the game will also incorporate local four-player co-op gameplay. Sonic Superstars is set to speed onto the Switch in Fall 2023.
Palia - Release Date - Winter 2023
Palia is an enchanting, free-to-play, cozy massively multiplayer online game that invites you to create the life and home you've always envisioned in a stunning new world. Engage in gathering, hunting, and crafting activities as you uncover the secrets of this ever-evolving adventure and forge friendships throughout your journey.
Persona 5 Tactica Release Date - November 17, 2023
Gather an elite squad of heroes for an exciting combat adventure set in Persona's universe, featuring an all-new narrative. Following a strange event, the Phantom Thieves find themselves facing imminent peril, only to be saved by an enigmatic revolutionary. In return for their assistance, this mysterious figure presents them with a deal.

A new Princess Peach game was teased coming in 2024.
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon - Release Date - 2024
Luigi is back in this spooky remake of Dark Moon, coming to Nintendo Switch in 2024. The new entry looks to have updated controls and enhanced visuals, this ghost-busting adventure has me excited, always up for a new Luigi game coming to the Switch.
Batman Arkham Trilogy - Release Date - Fall 2023
The ultimate edition of Rocksteady's acclaimed Arkham Trilogy games is now bundled together in a comprehensive collection for the Switch.
