New Year, New Big Nintendo Direct Announcements
Nintendo showed off dozens of Switch games from 1st party publishers and more in the virtual event, here are all the announcements.
In its latest Direct video presentation, Nintendo detailed a wide variety of games coming to their system in the first half of 2022. The immediate future is looking fantastic with many big reveals that have me extremely excited. The major highlights really had something for everyone from blockbuster debuts, returning classics and more! Let's breakdown all the announcenments from today's event.
Fire Emblems Warriors: Three Hopes
Release Date: June 24th, 2022
Prepare for a new tale set in the Fire Emblem universe with Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, coming this summer to the Nintendo Switch!
Advanced Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp
Release Date: April 8th, 2022
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp has returned with more news from the front. There's a lot more included in the two complete campaigns with the addition of voiced Commanding Officers, additional modes, and beautifully animated characters here are all the latest deails:
No Man’s Sky
Release Date: Summer 2022
No Man's Sky will be landing on the Nintendo Switch this summer, and you'll be able to explore the galaxy as you journey for resources, build tools, and battle to survive in an ever-expanding universe.
SD Gundam Battle Alliance
Release Date: TBD 2022
Join a Battle Alliance to Correct a False World in SD Gundam Battle Alliance. The third-person mech game looks to create an intense third-person battle experience on the Nintendo Switch when it launches later this year.
Mario Strikers Battle League

Splatoon 3 – Salmon Run Next Wave
Release Date: Summer 2022
The sequel to the smash hit Splatoon 2 is on its way, and it's looking to be packed with co-op content! A mysterious new, giant Salmonid is now in the picture it might be a tougher challenge than swimming upstream.
Disney Speedstorm
Release Date: TBD 2022
The hero-based battle-racing game, fuses together Disney & Pixar worlds, is releasing this year on PC & console.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Release Date: April 20th, 2022
Are you prepared to use The Force and your own lightsaber to battle foes like never before on the Switch? The Nintendo Wii version of STAR WARS: The Force Unleashed is coming to Nintendo Switch this spring adapted to make use of the new hardware. May the Force be with you!
Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series
Release Date: July 8th, 2022
Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil are coming to Nintendo Switch. The dreamy, side-scrolling adventures are in a single package in Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series arrives this summer.
Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection

Kirby and the Forgotten Land "Mouthful Mode" Revealed

In a new adventure, Kirby is eager to rescue the kidnapped Waddle Dees!
The newest mode for Kirby, Mouthful Mode, allows him to swallow real-world objects and utilize skills that are different from his copy abilities. You can even make a pit stop at Waddle Dee's Weapons Shop, where players can enhance their abilities. Transforming his copy abilities will broaden his attack range, alter his form, and enhance his power. Get ready for a new Kirby adventure floating on the Nintendo Switch this March!
MLB The Show 22 hits a homerun on the Nintendo Switch

A new iteration of the Wii Sports series is swinging onto the Switch with Nintendo Switch Sports.
The new game adds seven new sports in Soccer, Badminton, and Volleyball. Fan favourites like Bowling, Tennis, and Chambara will make their return too. Online play will be available across all the different sports at launch.
Earthbound & Earthbound Beginnings Come to NSO

EarthBound / EarthBound Beginnings: Join Ness, Paula, Jeff and Poo in their quest to fulfill an age-old prophecy to stop the wicked Giygas in the fan-favorite Super NES classic EarthBound. Metroid Dread - Free Update
Release Date: Available Now with "Boss Rush Mode" Coming April 2022
A free update is now live for Metroid Dread on the Nintendo Switch.
This adds in the brutal Dread Mode difficulty, with one hit permadeath. Are you up to the task? On the opposite end of the spectrum players new to the series can now jump into Rookie Mode, which allows for quicker recovery and less damage from bosses.
Finally, keep an eye out for a second free update in April, which will include Boss Rush mode, where you can face off with bosses one at a time until you are defeated.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3

With a new narrative that connects the outcomes of both Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will come to Nintendo Switch this September!
