Summer Game Fest kicked off in style with the rumoured LEGO Horizon Adventures being premiered for the first time. The action-adventure game is right around the corner, set to launch during the 2024 Holiday season. The title, co-developed by Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo, takes place in a distant future where the land is made of LEGO bricks and incredible dinosaur-like machines roam the Earth. Horizon Adventures is a playful and light-hearted story inspired by the critically acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn series.

Aloy’s backstory: brick by brick
The main character of the series, Aloy, is found in a cave as a baby and raised by a grizzled huntsman called Rost. She embarks on a quest to discover her true destiny, guided by a hologram of a scientist named Elisabet. Aloy must confront Helis, the leader of a group of sun worshippers who bow to an Ancient Evil shrouded in mystery. So far, all these mature themes and ultra-realistic assets look to be translated into LEGO elements beautifully. Aloy and her friends will see themselves transported across the tallest mountains and deepest cauldrons, playing through their adventure.
2-Player fun with LEGO Horizon Adventures
LEGO Horizon Adventures is designed for two-player action without the need for a split screen, allowing family and friends to enjoy the game together. Along with couch co-op, you can join fellow hunters online, so you can always adventure with a companion. Players can also decorate the village of Mother’s Heart and give out hilarious outfits for their friends to wear.
LEGO Horizon Adventures goes multiplatform
Aloy’s LEGO adventure will not only launch on the PlayStation 5, but PC and Nintendo Switch versions will also arrive on day one. It’s part of LEGO’s long history of adapting popular franchises into family-friendly games, and it’s expected to bring the same charm and fun that fans have come to love from previous LEGO titles.
