Concord Beta Early Access: Everything You Need to Know

It's time to gear up for the Concord Beta Early Access period. Here is everything you need to know to be battle-ready.

Concord’s Early Access Beta is almost here, and it’s just about time to jump into the sci-fi, first-person hero shooter. Before diving into the Early Access and Open Beta weekends, here’s everything you need to know about pre-downloads, server times, and some digital goodies you can earn when the full game launches on August 23rd, 2024.

Beta Dates and Preload Times

Early Access Beta: July 12 – 14

Open Beta: July 18 – 21


The Early Access Beta kicks off on Friday, July 12, at 10 am PDT for PS5 and PC players. PS5 users can start pre-downloading the beta today, July 11, at 10 am PDT. Unfortunately, PC players will need to wait until the servers go live to download.


Global Release Times for Early Access Beta:

July 12: 10 am PDT, 1 pm EDT, 2 pm BRT, 6 pm BST, 7 pm CEST

July 13: 2am JST, 2 am KST, 3am AEST


Pre-ordering any edition of Concord grants you access to the Early Access Beta weekend, plus four extra codes to share with friends. PlayStation Plus members can join the Beta Early Access weekend by downloading the beta on their PS5.


The Open Beta will run from Thursday, July 18, at 10 a.m. PDT through Sunday, July 21. PS5 players starting Wednesday, July 17, at 10 a.m. pre-download st PDT.

Explore the battle-hardened Concord Galaxy

During both the Early Access and Open Beta weekends, all 16 launch Freegunners will be unlocked and ready for you to play and customize. Whether you prefer sniping from afar, locking down an area, supporting your teammates, or diving into the fray, there’s a Freegunner for everyone. Firewalk Studios will also share the first Vignette during the Early Access Beta, offering a deeper look into the Freegunners of the North Star and their ship.


Concord Beta Early Access Weekend (July 12 - 14)

Here are all the maps, modes and Freegunners that will be available for the early access weekend:

  • Maps: Freewater, Star Chamber, Water Hazard, Shock Risk

  • Modes: Cargo Run, Clash Point, Trophy Hunt

  • Freegunners: All 16 available


Open Beta Weekend (July 18 - 21)

Includes all Early Access content, a new map, Bone Mines, and a new mode, Area Control.

Concord Beta Rewards

If you join both the Early Access and Open Beta weekends, your progress will carry over between the two events, but it won’t carry over to the official launch on August 23. As a thank you for participating, you’ll receive some cool rewards: a Frog Weapon Charm (named after the Northstar’s drop ship), a Star Flare Icon, and a Business Card.


PC Specs and Features

The Concord Beta will support cross-play so you can team up with friends across both PS5 and PC. Here are the system specifications and some of the supported features for the Concord Beta on PC:
