Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Full Reveal
Modern Warfare III drops on November 10th, with a full feature single player campaign, content rich multiplayer experience and new zombies mode.
After plenty of hints and other teasers Activision and Sledgehammer Games have unveiled major details around the of the next installment in the blockbuster Call of Duty series. Continuing the story of the Modern Warfare series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a follow-up to the hugely successful Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II from last year. It promises to offer another adrenaline filled experience with Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes, and also will feature integration with Call of Duty: Warzone.
A full featured single player cinematic campaign
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III was officially revealed during a Warzone 2 event called "Shadow Siege," which took place on August 17 at 10:30 AM PT. The event featured a live gameplay demonstration of the game’s new campaign mode, which follows Captain Price and his team of elite soldiers, Task Force 141, as they face a new global threat from a rogue faction of Russian ultranationalists.
The campaign mode promises to deliver an immersive and cinematic experience, with stunning graphics, realistic physics and dynamic environments. Action also teased new Open Combat Missions feature. It gives players the freedom to choose how they want to play the game, and it makes every mission feel different and exciting. It sounds like you can decide to sneak around or go in guns blazing, and the game will respond accordingly.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III multiplayer offerings
Modern Warfare III will also offer a world-class multiplayer mode that celebrates the Modern Warfare series’ greatest legacies. The game will feature 16 remastered maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009), which have been modernized with new modes and gameplay features.
These maps will be available at launch to get everyone started, while over 12 all-new core 6v6 maps will fuel post-launch live seasons. The multiplayer mode will also introduce new weapons, perks, killstreaks and customization options, as well as cross-play and cross-progression support.
Zombies mode returns
Zombies mode is back in Modern Warfare III, and it sounds like it will be bigger and better than ever. For the first time, you can team up with other squads of up to six players each and explore an open world map. It’s the largest Zombies map in Call of Duty history, and Activision has teased it’s full of secrets and surprises.
The stand alone mode is developed by Treyarch, and it continues the Dark Aether story that started in previous games. Players will be dropped into a PvE extraction survival experience set in an open world. This unique blend combines the core features of Zombies with innovative mechanics, pitting them against formidable foes that rank among the largest in Call of Duty history.
