Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s Logo Revealed Along with NFL Draft Appearance
Developer Infinity Ward posted the new title's logo on Twitter, along with debuting some dapper threads at the NFL Draft.
The long-awaited follow up to 2007's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and 2009's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been officially announced. Today, the hotly anticipated Modern Warfare II remake took another step towards a greater reveal with the official unveiling of its title and logo.
Logo and official title revealed
Posted by developer Infinity Ward on Twitter, the new logo for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is here! Much like the classic logo, it features sleek, modern silver and neon green lettering on a black background. Here's the first official look:
Along with the new logo reveal Activision has also released a series of hash flags, or custom Twitter Emojis. These hashtags have images that show up after you type in a word with a hash symbol in front of it. They are only available for specific events or occasions, and this is a big event for COD fans everywhere. There are a total of 5 so far, pointing to a bigger reveal for the game in the very near future. Here's what they look like:
Modern Warfare II Makes a Splash at the NFL Draft
Call of Duty MW2 also made an appearance at the 2022 NFL Draft. Many of the top prospects wore customs suits and one-of-a-kind accessories sporting logos and Modern Warfare II detailing. Some of the top picks in this year's NFL Draft showed their love of Call of Duty by wearing clothing and items on the red carpet, in the green room and on stage.
